SUNSCREEN FILTERS: MINERALS or CHEMICALS
Sunscreen is the best way to defend the skin from UVA and UVB damage, premature aging, spots and inflammation. Cosmetic research provides two types of filters for sun protection: mineral (or physical) filters and chemical filters.
The main difference between the two filters is how they work: mineral filters form a physical barrier that blocks and reflects ultraviolet rays. Chemical filters, on the other hand, absorb UV rays and, through a chemical reaction, convert them into heat, which is then dispersed.
Among mineral filters, zinc oxide is the most widely used because it provides a broad spectrum against UVA, UVB, protects against pollution, fine dust and blue light damage. In addition, its soothing action makes it very well tolerated by even the most sensitive skin.

CHARACTERISTICS
Cultivated with respect for biodiversity and in high altitude plantations. It is harvested in spring and is a valuable functional tea characterised by a high amount of antioxidant catechins. This tea variety is cultivated in Kinihira, Rulindo District in Rwanda.
